Eat that turkey

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

This year, I'm thankful for Guitar Hero 2, especially the song "Jessica" by The Allman Brothers.

I am not thankful at all for "Carry Me Home" by The Living End. That song is way too difficult.

I'm thankful for other things too, of course. But being serious on the Internet is hard.

Possibly the greatest moment in that game is on the very last stage in career mode. You play the last four songs, which means it's time for your encore.

And people actually yell for Freebird.

And then you actually play it.

It's amazing.

... and then you realize it's too hard and it ends early because you aren't good enough yet.

and then you practice it over and over again.

also, right before you play it the first time - and suck at it - you pause the game and tell your roommate you're about to play Freebird.

I love Jessica!!!!!
I brought Guitar Hero II home for Thanksgiving and at least 6 other people loved it too! It makes me think of the beach and the sun and the sand and happiness.

Thank God for a song that is actually good that is tied to the name Jessica! When Mambo #5 came out, I was ready to shoot people for singing (badly may I add) that stupid Jessica line to me...
As for the Guitar Hero excitement, I have nothing to add...I am one of the few who has yet to be introduced to its fantastic pleasures...maybe Christmas ;)
