One of the perks of the job I hold currently is the occasional fun team outing. Our clients were in town this week and we had a grand time watching the Cubs game from a nearby rooftop.
A great view, no rain and a come-from-behind Dodgers win. What more could you ask for?

Yay! Go Non-Cubs Team!!!
On a related note, I heard someone just recently beat some sort of homerun record. That's the extent of my sports knowledge... seriously.
Ok...I know you like the Cards and all, so Cubbies aren't even close to a favorite of your's, BUT being happy that Los Angeles one....that is just downright cold hearted!
We're in a pennant race, j fi. This is no time for being warm-hearted.
Rob, you continually manage to impress.
Way to go Tim.
Continue to root for the Cardinals and whomever is playing the Cubs and you will make your father smile.
Oh Timmy....I was trying to avoid this, but in case you never realized this with Allyn, you never want to egg on a Fike...the genetic competitve nature is more than you can probably handle...game on Ryder, game on!
ok serouisly, i need some help .i cant find robs phone number and i cant get ahold of his mother either.so rob call me or will someone have rob call me please.
oh by the way hi tim ,thanks
phillip
Phillip,
Just so you know I did get someone to cover my shift on Friday. So everything appears to be a go.
Hi Tim.
I was going to call Rob for Phil, but then I thought "Nah, I'd rather sleep."
So that's what I did.
You're welcome.
- Scott
P.S. I also thought you posted this a week ago.
TRydes, Jr.,
Great blog, man, and thanks for hitting mine. (Great name, too, by the way.) You see, I tried to get to your blog the first time I saw your post... but I was not at home, and the computer only spoke Latvian. Finally, I see!
Keep it real in Chicageal. My best to the rest of the Ryder clan.
