I was walking to meet a friend for lunch on Michigan Ave the other week and ran across this store on the ground level of a swanky apartment building.I find their lack of pretense refreshing. They are openly admitting to the consumer, "When walking into this place of business, you are not buying status or comfort or peace of mind. You are buying things."

I'd probably buy some things, just to be glad to know I was only buying things. There's no subtext.
I often visit this shop after I hit MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE CAFE, and just before I make a stop at LUST FOR WOMEN YOU'LL NEVER HAVE LTD.
It rounds out the day nicely.
