Embarrassing? Yes.
Dissapointing? Yes.
Sucky? Yes.

I'll say this even if I get crucified for it:
At least it was the Red Sox. I mean, it could have been the Yankee's. Or the Cubs (ok, you're right... that would NEVER happen). The Cards did a great job leading up to this, and I had even said after thier little comeback in the playoffs: if there was anyone that I wanted to see win, other than the Cardnials, it would be the Red Soxs.

Damn, it would have great to win though.

I'll go ahead and desert the Cards formally at this point, as I have always supported the Cubs on my own theological grounds. And let's get off the Cubs back for a while. They have the hard job of being the underdogs, they were actually hired by the League in the mid-50's to be the league's underdogs. Without them, fans would have no consistency, they could be up and down with no comforting year in and year out dissapointment.
And since I've moved here, I've found that I hate Derek Jeter. Weird.

On what site/whatever was this ranked number 2? That's awesome.

Josh, you never supported the Cardinals... who are you trying to fool? You formally gave up on them when you would wear Cubs crap during Cubs/Cards games in HighSchool...
