April showers bring stupid pop culture

Scary Movie 4 won the weekend box office with an estimated $41 million gross.

There is a song on the just-released NOW That's What I Call Music 21 compilation by Trace Adkins called "Honky Tonk Bodonkadonk." It is about exactly what you think.

Deal or No Deal is the highest rated show on NBC.

America, I'm worried about you. Call me, okay?

P.S. I saw
The Wild this weekend, mostly for the koala voiced by Eddie Izzard, but also because...um...okay, entirely because of the koala voiced by Eddie Izzard. He did not disappoint.

I would just like to reference you to my comment on the previous blog. i agree timmy...sad times we live in when scary movie is on top...man, i wish it was may...then the summer movies would be starting (xmen 3 in particular...)
and with the lack of quality film out right now, you could answer an email that is supposedly flagged in an aging inbox...

Ah Eddie Izzard. It's one of those names I hope isn't stage based. Like Ethan Hawke. Can you believe that guy just happened to be named Ethan Hawke? You don't go walking around named Ethan Hawke unless you intend to be a swashbuckler or an actor. Those are your choices. And can you believe that she never took the name Uma Hawke?

But yeah, crap movie offerings. Slither is worth your time though. In the "I want Nathan Fillion to get more work" sense at least. A good one to be drunk at, I give it 4/5 Bottles.

Other than that, I'm just toughing out the doldrums that are the spring movie season. And really, the blockbuster summer season is just alright for light entertainment. We'll get back to the substantial flicks this fall. Although I consider August to be summer, and one of the weightiest films of the year is being released in that mont*.

My point is there's things to look forward, drunk, to.

* I'm refering here, to Snakes on a Plane.

X-Men 3 = Most anticipated movie to come.

Slither = Movie I'd most likely see if I went out tonight.

V for Vendetta = Most anticipated DVD Release.

That's my movie opinion of the moment. God I hope I spelled anticipated right...
