How could I forget?

Okay, one more. This is perhaps the most important.

Indie band most deserving of being immediately signed: Attagirl. Seriously, someone give these girls a three-album deal. The music is great, and girls need role models. And they HAVE to be better role models than Barlow Girl. Those huge tramps of Barlow Girl.

Umm...nothing, really. It was a joke. Barlow Girl is fun to make fun of. Go on, try it.

(And I'm sure they're very nice girls. If I ever meet them, I'm going to ask them out.)

I should take you to a Legion show out here sometime Timbo Tapey, as the last couple I've been to have been horrible. My friend is a drummer in one of the bands I saw, and she asked if I could set up their monitors because the guy who normally does it couldn't make it. Anywho, I swear they must not have been listening to them, as I spent 45 minutes cleaning out my ears after having to listen to out of tune and badly played drivil. Back in my day (when I was in high school, which of course was not too long ago, but I like using those phrases where people think you're old) there were decent acts that played Legion shows. I remember many shows where Papa Roach was headlining with Trapt and a boat load of popish message bands opening (including my moment of infamy, but that's story is so drab). Those were the days sonny, those were the days. Has the Chicago (or rural Illinois, I think you can comment on both) scene been dry since the early days of Lucky Boys? I haven't heard much decent stuff from out that way in a long time.

Long diatribes at the end of the work day, on a post you wrote last week... ROCK!
